SilverStar Mountain Resort is a ski resort located near Silver Star Provincial Park in the Shuswap Highland of the Monashee Mountains, 22 km northeast of the city of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. The summit is 6,280 ft. with the village at 5,280 ft. above sea level. SilverStar offers some of the best and most extensive Cross Country skiing in the world, with more than 60 miles of daily groomed trails.
Although I have never skied there the beauty of the location is not lost when there is no snow. This picture from the parking lot is but one of the spectacular view from this location. The mountains seem to run on forever with the amazing Cedar trees covering the landscape.

David A. Bigelow, known as DABigelow Art, was born in London, Ontario, Canada, in 1965. His artistic journey began during his high school years when he delved into the world of art. His career path split, with half of his working life dedicated to precision as a tool and die maker, meticulously handling technical drawings. The other half was spent as a technology teacher, guiding students in crafting innovative design concepts.
