Three islands were constructed during the winter of 1995-1996 in the northeast corner of Hamilton Harbour, Lake Ontario, Canada. the purpose of the islands was to provide a secure nesting habitat in Hamilton Harbour for six species of colonial waterbirds:
Two individuals are kayaking near a small island with dense foliage in a calm body of water. In the background, the sky is overcast and there are buildings visible in the distant shoreline.
David A. Bigelow, known as DABigelow Art. facebook.com/DABigelow.Art David Bigelow is a visual artist based in Hamilton, Ontario, known for his minimalist acrylic landscapes. Using a limited palette, he distills natural scenes into calm, contemplative compositions that reflect both emotional depth and visual clarity.
